Champa, CHHATTISGARH – The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great zeal and patriotic enthusiasm at the premises of Chhattisgarh Steel & Power Ltd. today, August 15, 2026. In alignment with the national theme of “150 Years of Vande Mataram” and “Yuva Shakti for Viksit Bharat@2047,” the organization marked the day by honoring the nation’s freedom and reinforcing its commitment to industrial growth.
Flag Hoisting Ceremony
The ceremonial flag hoisting was jointly conducted by Mr. Dilip Prajapati, Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Mr. Gopal Rao, Mr. Aakash Pathak and Mr. Krishna Reddy. As the National Flag was unfurled, the entire assembly stood in unison to salute the tri-color, followed by a resonant rendition of the National Anthem, Jana Gana Mana.
Unity in Celebration
The event witnessed overwhelming participation from the company’s workforce. Security officers, plant staff, administrative personnel, and management representatives gathered on the grounds to pay tribute to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s sovereignty.
Speaking on the occasion, the leadership emphasized the role of the steel and power sector in realizing the vision of a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by 2047. They praised the dedication of the staff, noting that the collective hard work of employees is the backbone of the company’s contribution to the regional and national economy.

ध्वजारोहण समारोह
संस्थान में मुख्य ध्वजारोहण श्री दिलीप प्रजापति, श्री मनोज कुमार सिंह,श्री गोपाल राव ,श्री आकाश पाथक और श्री कृष्ण रेड्डी द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से किया गया। तिरंगा फहराने के बाद उपस्थित सभी लोगों ने राष्ट्रगान गाकर ध्वज को सलामी दी और देश की आजादी के नायकों को नमन किया।
कर्मचारियों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति
इस कार्यक्रम में कंपनी के सभी विभागों के कर्मचारी, सुरक्षा अधिकारी और प्रबंधन टीम ने पूरे उत्साह के साथ भाग लिया। वक्ताओं ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि राष्ट्र निर्माण में स्टील और पावर सेक्टर की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है और हम सभी को देश को ‘विकसित भारत’ बनाने के संकल्प में अपना योगदान देना चाहिए।
