जांजगीर-चांपा, 25 जुलाई 2026:
जिला चिकित्सालय जांजगीर-चांपा में सामने आई प्रशासनिक और वित्तीय अनियमितताओं के मामलों को प्रशासन ने बेहद गंभीरता से लिया है। अस्पताल में परिवार नियोजन प्रोत्साहन राशि के वितरण में गड़बड़ी तथा जीवनदीप समिति के अंतर्गत की गई विभिन्न नियुक्तियों में नियमों की अनदेखी से संबंधित कई शिकायतें प्राप्त हुई थीं।
मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए कलेक्टर श्री जन्मेजय महोबे ने अपर कलेक्टर को इस पूरे प्रकरण की सूक्ष्म एवं निष्पक्ष जांच कर विस्तृत प्रतिवेदन (रिपोर्ट) प्रस्तुत करने के कड़े निर्देश दिए हैं। कलेक्टर ने स्पष्ट किया है कि जांच के दौरान सभी संबंधित अभिलेखों, वित्तीय रजिस्टरों और भर्ती से जुड़े दस्तावेजों का गहन परीक्षण किया जाए। उन्होंने यह भी चेतावनी दी है कि यदि जांच में किसी भी स्तर पर कोई वित्तीय या प्रशासनिक अनियमितता पाई जाती है, तो जिम्मेदार अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों के विरुद्ध नियमानुसार सख्त से सख्त अनुशासनात्मक एवं कानूनी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाएगी।
राज्य स्तरीय जांच टीम करेगी पड़ताल
गौरतलब है कि इस मामले की गूंज राज्य स्तर तक पहुंची है, जिसके बाद शासन द्वारा एक उच्च स्तरीय राज्य जांच समिति का भी गठन किया गया है। यह राज्य स्तरीय जांच दल 27 जुलाई 2026 को प्रातः 10:30 बजे जांजगीर-चांपा पहुंचेगा। टीम जिला अस्पताल का दौरा कर शिकायतों से जुड़े मूल दस्तावेजों की पड़ताल करेगी और संबंधित कर्मचारियों तथा शिकायतकर्ताओं के बयान दर्ज कर अपनी विस्तृत रिपोर्ट शासन को सौंपेगी।

Taking strong cognizance of the complaints regarding administrative and financial irregularities at the District Hospital Janjgir-Champa, District Collector Mr. Janmejay Mahobe has ordered a thorough investigation into the matter. The complaints primarily pertain to alleged discrepancies in the distribution of family planning incentive funds and procedural flaws in appointments made under the Jeevandeep Samiti.
Collector Mr. Mahobe has directed the Additional Collector to conduct a detailed inquiry and submit a comprehensive report at the earliest. The Collector instructed that all relevant official records, financial registers, and recruitment documents be rigorously audited during the investigation. He emphasized that if any irregularities, malpractice, or negligence are uncovered, strict legal and disciplinary action will be taken against the guilty individuals in accordance with established rules.
State-Level Inquiry Committee Formed
Highlighting the gravity of the allegations, the state government has also constituted a high-level State Inquiry Committee to probe the issue independently. The state-level investigation team is scheduled to arrive in the district on July 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The team will inspect the district hospital premises, examine original documents, record statements from concerned officials and complainants, and submit its findings to the higher authorities.
